Chicken Girl (people outside of her computer call her Cassie) is 25 years old, lives in the Twin Cities with her boyfriend and likes to pretend that people actually read her silly little website. Her guinea pig, Fiona, lives in the Chicago suburbs with her parents.

Chicken Girl is an out ‘n proud atheist. She has exactly the same amount of faith in gods as she does in the tooth fairy, and she lives her life accordingly. She strongly believes that church and state should remain separate, and that this would be a much more pleasant culture to live in if only theists would mind their own business and get used to the idea that other people are not obligated to share or indulge their superstitions. She likes to practice her l33t IRC lurkering skillz with other atheists in #stopperbot on irc.wikkedwire.com.

About This Site

Chicken Girl spent the first couple of years of this website’s existence engaged in standards snobbery, motivated partially by her rampant perfectionism and partially by her maniacal hatred of Internet Explorer. She installed WordPress and turned the site into a blog when she realized that it had already become one. She carefully and lovingly fashioned her WordPress theme herself, using the “Basic” theme by Ron “eclip5e” Adams as a blank canvas. About Copper

Chicken Girl’s family adopted Copper, the guinea pig in the title graphic, when she was three years old and she died in February 2005 at the ripe old (for a guinea pig) age of seven. She is dearly missed.
