Saturday, June 21st, 2008Yesterday I did something I haven’t been able to do in YEARS.
I walked into a physical, brick-and-mortar store. And I bought a BRA. IN MY SIZE.
NORDSTROM HAS BRAS IN MY SIZE!!!
This is a big deal. My bra size is 32FF.
This is my new bra. It was fucking expensive. Such is the fate of the chick with huge melons.

goodbyetoallfat: Have you tried JustMySize? They’ve got a whole mess o’ bras in size 50C. I bought a few bras from them last year when I was still fat enough to get away with wearing a 38 band and I hadn’t found Bravissimo yet.

That’s a pretty bra, too! I tend to just wear a sports bra all the time because I like the extra support. No one would ever accuse me of wearing sexy undergarments. And I’m way overdue for new ones so they’re all ratty, making the look especially pathetic. Yours is totally cute!

Congrats on being able to get a perfect fit bra.
I am at the other scale of the bra hunting wars: massive all round inches and small cup size. I think my true size is about 50C but as there are no bras above 46 that come in C cup sizes, I settle for 48D as the best compromise.
Bras for big women seem to ASSUME you will be voluptuous, carrying all the weight in your mega bosom, hence cup sizes of only DD, EE, FF etc etc !!!
