Pavarotti secretly replaced by wax figure

Pavarotti's wax figureThe latest photographic evidence has confirmed that the purpose of Pavarotti’s recent hospital stays has been to create a mold for a wax figure of him, not to treat pancreatic cancer as was previously believed.

The singer’s friends and family intend to use the figure to enable Pavarotti to continue touring, rather than go into retirement as he had been planning. The figure will be fitted with a speaker to project recordings of Pavarotti’s voice, “so that he may be enjoyed and adored for decades to come”.

A survey conducted at various zoos and wildlife reserves revealed that 8 out of 10 elephants are strongly in favor of this course of action.
